Gray and Sarah Blandford had 9 Children . They were as follows

Anne Blanford born 20 October 1798 and Christening 21 November 1798 at All Saints Poplar Middlesex. There are 2 sites with the same information on Anne`s Christening. Ancestry.com has the information around the wrong way and The latter day Saints site familysearch.org has it written correctly. My Transcribed copy is a little of each
Remember ancestry.com is a pay to view site so I cant give you a link to the original document and familysearch.org is a free index so you only get to look at a index not a original document

William Gray Blanford was Christened 14 June 1801 at St Dunstan and All Saints Stepney Middlesex and the record shows that he was 45 days old making his birth 1 May 1801
Sarah Blanford was born 5 September 1803 and baptized 3 October 1803 at St Dunstan and All Staints Stepney. Sarah married Daniel Sinfield 18 October 1863 at St Thomas, Stepney. He was a widower and she a widow, but didn't find another marriage for sarah. Actually that's pretty old for a marriage, she's 60. On the Marriage entry she is Sarah Sinfield, so I wonder if she is marrying her brother-in-law??

William Blanford was born February 3 1813 and baptised May 24 1820 at All Saints chapel Poplar Middlesex and
why would they call 2 children William/William Gray, maybe one died young??
James Blanford was born February 3 1817 and baptised May 24 1820 at All Saints chapel Poplar Middlesex and
For more information on James go to

Thomas Blanford was born March 23 1820 and also baptised on May 24 1820 at All Saints chapel Poplar Middlesex and There is a Thomas Blandford (father Gray) who married Frances Fitch 3 December 1843 at St John, Hackney, Middlesex Frances father was Richard Fitch
There is only one thing ive found on this document that I cant read and that’s Thomas Blanfords Occupation ?
But other researchers have helped Thomas is a " Carman " someone who transports goods from place to place
I have found a baptism for James Blanford who was baptized along with his brothers Thomas and William 24 May 1820 in the chapel of Poplar, All Saints, Tower Hamlets. In the margins of this book was written Born and both James and William have the date feb 3, which seems unlikely, William the year 1813 and James 1817.
This is the dates as per the documents which I found at

The thing I find interesting about this document is Williams and James birth dates 3 February 1813 and 3 February 1817
The younger brother Thomas was born 23 March 1820
The Christening took place on the 24 May1820 , What I think happened was the parents were ask how old the children where, Thomas was still young they would have remembered that but the other 2 they would have said “ James is 3 or 4 and William is about 6 or 7 but we don’t know the dates..” I don’t know if the parents could read or write??
I think the person who wrote the document guessed there birth
If the family were uneducated they wouldn’t know how to read a calendar but James as a adult would have just picked a year for his birth and that could have changed through out his life, this shows in the 1851, 1861 and 1871 Census where his age details make him born in different years
